This work is the first audio file released as part of subsymbolic.com. The 3 works in this shortened compilation were composed over a number of months using primarily non-linear composition techniques, several computer-based audio processing tools and an analogue modelling synthesiser.
The work traces a descent through an abstract aural soundscape.

This rather chaotic work was composed with the idea in mind of technological society being both liberating and constricting/controlled at the same time. The compositional intent was to explore the tension and interplay between regular & irregular rhyhmic sounds.
The sound sources used were digitally modelled analogue synthesiser patches.
